Ambassador
Programme Policy
Document Ref: MVO-2026-AMB-V1
1. PURPOSE OF THIS POLICY
This Ambassador Programme Policy explains how the Memovo Ambassador Programme works, including referral links, referral tracking, promotional rules, approved assets, potential rewards, commission eligibility, misuse and ambassador responsibilities.
This policy applies to anyone who signs up for, uses, shares or participates in the Memovo Ambassador Programme.
This policy should be read alongside Memovo’s Terms of Service, Privacy Framework, Cookie Framework, Directory Disclaimer and any ambassador dashboard guidance shown on the platform.
2. MEMOVO’S ROLE
Memovo is an online directory platform. The Ambassador Programme allows approved or active ambassadors to introduce care homes, care agencies, service providers, activity providers, wellbeing professionals, strategic partners or other relevant organisations to Memovo.
Ambassadors may share referral links, approved resources and public Memovo information. Ambassadors do not provide care services on behalf of Memovo and do not have authority to approve listings, confirm pricing, guarantee results, make official decisions or speak on behalf of Memovo.
3. INDEPENDENT AMBASSADOR STATUS
Ambassadors are independent referrers. Participation in the Ambassador Programme does not create an employment relationship, agency relationship, partnership, franchise, joint venture, representative relationship or sales appointment with Memovo.
Unless Memovo confirms otherwise in writing, ambassadors must not describe themselves as Memovo staff, employees, sales representatives, support agents, managers, consultants, official partners or authorised spokespeople.
The safest wording is: “I’m a Memovo Ambassador sharing my referral link.”
4. REFERRAL LINKS AND CODES
Each active ambassador may receive a personal referral code and referral link. The referral link may be used to introduce relevant businesses or individuals to Memovo.
Referral links may include a referral code in the website URL. When someone visits Memovo using a referral link, Memovo may store the referral code in browser storage, a cookie or platform records so that the referral can be connected to a later signup or tracked action.
Ambassadors must not alter referral links in a misleading way, hide the commercial nature of the referral where disclosure is appropriate, or use another person’s referral code without permission.
5. REFERRAL TRACKING WINDOW
Memovo may attribute a referral to an ambassador for up to 90 days from the referral link visit, where the referral code is successfully stored and matched to a later signup, listing, subscription or tracked action.
Referral attribution is not guaranteed. Tracking may fail or be unavailable where a user clears cookies, blocks cookies, blocks local storage, changes browser, changes device, uses private browsing, signs up without the referral code, uses a different link, or where Memovo cannot reasonably match the referral to the ambassador.
Where there is a dispute about referral attribution, Memovo may review the available platform records and make a final decision based on the information available.
6. CLICKS, SIGNUPS AND REFERRAL STAGES
The ambassador dashboard may show link clicks, tracked referrals, trial starts, account creation events, subscription stages, potential bounty amounts and potential monthly commission estimates.
Dashboard information is for guidance only. It may be delayed, incomplete, estimated, subject to review or affected by tracking limitations.
A tracked referral does not automatically mean a reward is payable. Rewards depend on the referral meeting the eligibility rules in this policy and any additional checks carried out by Memovo.
7. FREE TRIAL PERIOD
Some referred businesses may start with a free trial period. No ambassador commission, monthly commission or bounty is payable during the free trial period.
Where the ambassador dashboard refers to a 90-day free trial, any displayed reward during that period should be treated as a potential future reward only.
A referral becomes eligible for reward review only after the referred business completes the free trial and makes its first successful paid monthly subscription payment, unless Memovo states otherwise in writing.
8. ONE-OFF BOUNTY AND MONTHLY COMMISSION
Memovo may offer a one-off bounty and/or monthly commission for eligible referrals. The amount may depend on the referred business type, selected plan, active subscription status and any current ambassador reward structure shown in the dashboard.
A one-off bounty is only potentially triggered after the referred business makes its first successful monthly payment following any free trial period.
Monthly commission is only potentially payable while the referred business remains active, subscribed and paying on an eligible plan. If the referred business cancels, fails payment, downgrades, pauses, receives a refund, disputes payment or is removed from the platform, monthly commission may stop or be adjusted.
All rewards shown in the dashboard are estimates until reviewed and confirmed by Memovo.
9. REWARD ELIGIBILITY
To be eligible for ambassador rewards, the ambassador must have an active ambassador account, use their own referral link or code, follow this policy, and introduce a genuine new business or user to Memovo.
Memovo may refuse, reverse, delay or remove rewards where a referral is invalid, duplicated, fraudulent, self-referred, already known to Memovo, incorrectly attributed, generated through spam, generated through misleading claims, or otherwise in breach of this policy.
Memovo may also decline rewards where the referred business does not complete signup, does not complete the trial, does not make a successful payment, cancels before becoming eligible, disputes payment, receives a refund, or is removed from the platform.
10. PAYMENT OF REWARDS
Rewards are not automatically guaranteed by dashboard figures. Memovo may review referrals, payments, plan status and account activity before confirming any reward.
Memovo may set payout methods, payout timing, minimum payout thresholds, invoice requirements, tax information requirements or administrative checks before releasing any ambassador payment.
Ambassadors are responsible for any tax, reporting or financial obligations that apply to rewards they receive.
11. APPROVED PROMOTION RULES
Ambassadors may share Memovo, introduce people to the platform, recommend that people take a look, and use approved wording or resources from the ambassador dashboard.
Ambassadors may say they are a Memovo Ambassador, provided they make clear that they are an independent ambassador sharing a referral link.
Ambassadors must not say or imply that they work for Memovo, represent Memovo, approve listings, guarantee acceptance, guarantee enquiries, guarantee bookings, guarantee revenue, guarantee rankings, confirm pricing on Memovo’s behalf, or make official decisions for Memovo.
12. WHAT AMBASSADORS CAN SAY
Ambassadors may use simple wording such as:
- “I’m a Memovo Ambassador and thought this may be useful for your care business.”
- “I’m sharing this as an independent ambassador.”
- “Memovo is building a specialist care directory for care homes, care agencies and dementia-friendly service providers.”
- “You can take a look using my referral link.”
Ambassadors should keep promotional wording honest, clear and proportionate.
13. WHAT AMBASSADORS MUST NOT SAY
Ambassadors must not use wording such as:
- “I work for Memovo.”
- “We guarantee you will receive enquiries.”
- “I can approve your listing.”
- “I can confirm your place on Memovo.”
- “Memovo guarantees new bookings or revenue.”
- “You will rank at the top if you sign up through me.”
Ambassadors must not make misleading, exaggerated, aggressive, unfair, unlawful or unsupported claims about Memovo, care providers, service providers or competitors.
14. USE OF MEMOVO ASSETS
Memovo may provide ambassadors with graphics, documents, links, copy, social media resources or other materials through the ambassador dashboard or asset library.
Ambassadors may use approved assets only for promoting Memovo in line with this policy. Memovo owns or controls the Memovo brand, platform materials, graphics and ambassador resources unless stated otherwise.
Memovo may update, remove, replace or withdraw assets at any time. Ambassadors must stop using outdated, withdrawn or unsuitable materials if Memovo asks them to do so.
15. SPAM, MISUSE AND UNFAIR PROMOTION
Ambassadors must not use spam, scraping, misleading messages, fake accounts, automated mass messaging, deceptive advertising, impersonation, unsolicited bulk messages, fake referrals, self-referrals, referral farming or any method that may damage Memovo’s reputation.
Ambassadors must comply with applicable marketing, privacy, electronic communications and advertising rules when sharing links or contacting people.
Memovo may suspend or terminate ambassador access where promotion is abusive, misleading, unlawful, excessive, harmful or inconsistent with Memovo’s standards.
16. DATA AND PRIVACY
Memovo may process ambassador account details, referral codes, click counts, referral records, signup details, subscription stages, payout information and support enquiries for the purpose of operating the Ambassador Programme.
Referral tracking may involve cookies, browser storage, URL parameters and database records. More information about cookies and personal data is available in Memovo’s Cookie Framework and Privacy Framework.
Ambassadors must not collect or share personal data with Memovo unless they have a lawful and appropriate reason to do so.
17. AMBASSADOR SUPPORT ENQUIRIES
Ambassadors may use ambassador support forms to ask questions, raise referral issues, discuss larger opportunities, request support with care groups or report concerns about referral tracking.
Submitting a support enquiry does not guarantee approval, payment, partnership, listing acceptance, commercial terms or any particular outcome.
18. SUSPENSION OR TERMINATION
Memovo may suspend, restrict or terminate ambassador participation at any time where an ambassador breaches this policy, misuses the platform, misrepresents Memovo, generates suspicious referrals, harms Memovo’s reputation, breaches legal requirements or acts in a way Memovo considers unsuitable for the programme.
Where an ambassador account is suspended or terminated, Memovo may remove access to the ambassador dashboard, stop referral tracking, withhold unpaid rewards, cancel pending rewards or require the ambassador to stop using Memovo assets.
19. CHANGES TO THE PROGRAMME
Memovo may change, pause or end the Ambassador Programme at any time. This may include changes to reward amounts, eligibility rules, referral windows, tracking methods, payout timing, dashboard features, approved assets or ambassador requirements.
Where practical, Memovo will update this policy or dashboard guidance when material changes are made.
